Terms and Conditions for Sunteca Pty Ltd
Sunteca Pty Ltd warrants that for so long as the original purchaser owns the Product, and within the warranty period, they will be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
The obligation of Sunteca is limited to repair or replacement of the products or components found to be defective and excludes service call fees, electrical works, and costs for removing, disassembling, reassembling and re-installing the products.
Terms and Conditions
• 50% payment on acceptance of quotation.
• Balance is due on installation or delivery of goods. Installation or delivery of goods will not be carried out without full payment.
• C.O.D. We accept Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard, Money orders, Cash, EFT and Cheque. Credit cards will incur a 1.5% fee.
• Balance will be put through on customer’s credit card on completion of installation or delivery of goods unless prior arrangement is made.
• Unless balance of payment is received on installation or delivery of goods, the warranty will become invalid until full payment is made.
• All goods remain the property of Sunteca until payment is received in full.
• An order cannot be cancelled except upon terms, which will compensate Sunteca for all the work done and materials used.
• All effort will be made for delivery dates to be adhered to however, Sunteca cannot be held responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond its control.
• Should the products be completed and ready for installation, but access to the site is delayed by a period greater than two weeks from time of notification by Sunteca, a progress payment is required of 80% of the balance outstanding, the remainder is payable on installation.
• Goods are unable to be held in storage, goods will be delivered to site and payment is required (except for fitting/installation).
• To comply with the Terms and Conditions of Warranty, the original invoice is required and is only valid for the original purchaser.
• The removal of any existing window coverings is the client’s responsibility.
• Sunteca will agree to repair or replace the product/s and/or parts free of charge during the warranty period. Service calls and labour are not covered under the product warranty and associated service charges and fees including re-installation and electrical works will be chargeable.
This Warranty Excludes:
• Normal wear and tear of all Products, normal shrinkage of textile products and other changes, which occur normally with passage of time.
• Damage to the surface of the fabric of textile awning products due to scrubbing or the use of soap powder or detergents, fungal or algal growth due to the buildup of surface dirt, grim, leaves or bird matter, accumulations of water lying on fabric, or the failure to re-waterproof the fabric annually.
• Damage or misuse including a failure to follow Sunteca’s installation and care instructions.
• Damage caused by reactions with chemical agents, fumes, liquids or solids, swimming pool additives.
• Products that have been removed and reinstalled in another window or location.
• Installations subject to salt spray or marine influences, industrial or corrosive environments or internal situations subject to moisture-laden air.
• Damage caused by any outside cause including acts of God.
• Electrical components (including motor, switches, sensors, wiring) which shall have a warranty period limited to five years.
• Sunteca warrants its internal blinds for five (5) years and all external awnings for five (5) years from the date of sale.
This warranty is against any defects in materials or workmanship and is in addition to any other obligation imposed by law.
